ASMUCAFE is an organization of farmers and landowners in El Tambo, a municipality in the Cauca region. The women's mission as an association is to improve their families' quality of life through coffee growing, and to contribute positively to their community by working together and sharing resources, knowledge and support.

Coffee from the cooperative undergoes a somewhat unusual process: the cherries are left in the loading hoppers for 14 hours before being pulped in the afternoon and evening. The beans are then placed in open fermentation vats for 10 hours, before being washed and dried in the sun.
