CoffeeSock | Set of 2 reusable filters for Chemex 3 cups

Reusable filters for Chemex 3 cups, made of soft organic cotton, and hand sewn in the United States. It fits on the Chemex Pint Sized Chemex and comes in a pack of two - so you always have a spare.

We love the difference this filter makes. Not only are you reusing your filter, but you're also creating a completely different flavor profile than you would get with paper or metal filters. 
Fabric filters allow more oils to pass through and therefore give you more body - without sacrificing the complexity of your coffee.

NOTE:
We have found that brew times with a CoffeeSock are a little faster (20- 30 s) than when using the same coffee with a paper filter. You may need to make your grind a little finer than you would normally use for a paper filter.

MAINTENANCE:

• Compost your coffee grounds (ideal for your soil)
• Turn your filter over and rinse with hot water
• Squeeze out excess water and hang to dry completely between uses.

That's all the cleaning needed with ordinary use

To disinfect further from time to time or if necessary:

• Boil for 5 minutes or
• Dishwasher safe or
• Soak in water and microwave on high
