For this dessert straight from heaven, we'll give you the recipe (but shush, it's just between us ).
You will need:
- 3/4 cup all-purpose white flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa
- 170 g semi-sweet chocolate
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup to 1 cup sugar (to taste)
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup of hot espresso coffee (most important )
Now we can tackle the preparation
Preheat your oven to 325°F and line an 8in*8in pan with parchment paper.
In a bowl, mix the flour and cocoa, then set aside.
Melt the chocolate and butter in a bain-marie until you obtain a liquid mixture. Remove the bowl from the water bath. Using a whisk, add the sugar. Add one egg at a time, then the coffee, and whisk for a few moments. Using a wooden spoon, gently add the flour and cocoa mixture.
Spread in the pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until the center is set but still moist. Leave to cool in the mold for 4 hours.
