Oxygen ages your coffee and robs your brew of its full potential. Atmos containers banish air, moisture and odors to keep your beans from aging before you've enjoyed the entire bag. The built-in vacuum pump sucks out air to prevent oxidation and extend coffee shelf life by up to 50%. Simply twist the lid back and forth to remove air from inside, and watch the dot on the vacuum lock indicator drop to reveal a green ring. The "vacuum" is now locked to prevent oxidation and extend the shelf life of your coffee or tea. A silicone seal prevents air, moisture, odors or other things from getting in.
The 700ml container holds up to 10oz of coffee beans and the 1.2L container holds up to 16oz of coffee beans.
The Atmos is designed to maintain a vacuum for approximately 3-4 days, allowing your coffee beans to last throughout the week. It is not designed for long-term storage. As your coffee degasses, you may see the indicator level drop or disappear completely. In this case, it may be necessary to release the pressure and close the lid. The speed and intensity of degassing will vary depending on the freshness of the roast, the type of coffee, and the roast level. In short, the less gas, the better your Atmos container will maintain its seal!
Do not place Atmos upside down when storing contents inside. Avoid putting fine powder inside: flour, finely ground coffee, etc. This can clog the "vacuum" cover.

La finition du contenant est excellente et il est bien hermétique. Toutefois il faut noter qu'il est destiné au café en grain et non moulu. Pour l'utiliser avec du café moulu, il faut découper un morceau d'essui tout du diamètre du contenant et le poser sur le café moulu avant de fermer le pot pour éviter d'aspirer du café moulu dans le couvercle du contenant. L'autre option est de conserver le café dans son sac d'origine.
Ces pastilles nettoyantes Grindz de Urnex sont vraiment efficace pour nettoyer le moulin à café en enlevant huile et particules tout autour des meules du moulin. Vraiment simple et rapide à utiliser alors pourquoi ne pas nettoyer le moulin plusieurs fois par année pour toujours avoir du bon café !
