💁🏻♀️INFORMATION ABOUT THE ASSEMBLY

Located in the Mogiana region of São Sebastião da Grama in the state of São Paulo, Fazenda Recreio is an iconic Brazilian coffee farm. Nestled between 1,000 and 1,350 meters above sea level, it benefits from fertile soil, a mild climate, and ideal sun exposure for growing expressive and balanced coffees.

Founded in 1890, the farm is now run by Diogo Dias Teixeira de Macedo, an agricultural engineer and the fifth generation of the family. Alongside his parents, Homero and Maria Teixeira de Macedo, Diogo perpetuates a tradition of excellence while integrating innovative approaches: experimenting with new varieties, fermentation processes, and technological innovations.

For this particular batch, the cherries are washed, sorted, pulped, and left to dry on the patios the same day they are picked. They remain there until they reach approximately 20% moisture content, before being transferred to a drying room where they finish drying to reach 11% moisture. The coffee then rests for at least 30 days in settling boxes to ensure even drying and a consistent, harmonious cup.

This constant pursuit of improvement has earned Fazenda Recreio international recognition, notably through numerous awards at the Cup of Excellence, including first place in 2004 and several other distinctions over the years.

This is our first year collaborating with the Macedo family, and we are delighted to present this batch, which will quickly become your daily coffee. It's a coffee that perfectly reflects Brazilian craftsmanship and the heritage of a farm where tradition and innovation meet harmoniously.
