Sometimes the group head of your espresso machine needs a good cleaning. If your machine has a 3-way pressure relief valve, you can clean it with a brush, then use this blind filter holder basket to rinse and clean the inside of the group.

Always follow the manufacturer's cleaning and disassembly instructions.

Backflush instructions (each group head):

  1. Insert the blank filter into the filter holder and add a bag of powder Puly. Insert the filter holder into the group head.
  2. Activate the brewing cycle for 10 seconds. Stop for 10 seconds. Repeat 5 times.
  3. Remove the filter holder. Activate the brew cycle and rinse the filter holder under the water jet from the group head. Stop the cycle.
  4. Insert the filter pan into the group head. Repeat step (2) without Puly 5 times.
  5. Prepare and discard a cup of espresso to ensure no residue remains.
