Hario V60

What is this?

Arguably the most popular manual brewing method of the last decade!

Called dripper (or filter holder), it is an interesting manual infusion system for lovers of tasty coffee who want to prepare only one cup at a time.

It is affordable, easy to use and clean.

The Hario V60-02 is a newer version of the classic Melitta cones.
There are as many opinions on the method of preparation as of the number of baristas, but once you find your recipe, it's one of the cheapest and most effective ways to make great coffee at home.

Where does it come from?

Paper coffee filters were invented in Germany by Melitta Bentz in 1908, and are now commonly used worldwide.

Hario, founded in Tokyo in 1921, began by producing and selling glass products for physical and chemical use.

The V60 was first introduced in ceramic and glass, then in plastic, and finally in metal. The latest edition of the Hario V60 is the copper coffee dripper.

Why the name V60?

The name V60 comes from the shape of the device. It is V-shaped, with 60-degree angles. The inner sides also have interior ridges that aid in airflow during the brewing process.

For whom?

Nuanced and versatile, the Hario is a stylish brewer for those who want to perfect their coffee brewing and crave complete control over extraction.
