This decaf is a rare and much-anticipated novelty: a decaffeinated coffee from Baho Coffee by Emmanuel Rusatira. It was treated using the Swiss water process and is This coffee is made from a blend of batches selected by our importing partner Semilla in Rwanda. This project aims to extend our commitment to Baho Coffee, one of our long-standing partners, by showcasing quality coffees that might otherwise have been excluded from the market.
The batches sent to Swiss Water's decaffeination plant in British Columbia come from the Akagera, Muzo, and Fugi washing stations. They include natural, washed, and honey-processed coffees. This approach allows for the creation of traceable coffee, made from recently harvested beans purchased at a fair price, while ensuring excellent consistency in flavor profile.
