REVISITED RECIPE
ORIGINAL IRISH COFFEE RECIPE
Ingredients:
3.5 cl (1 oz) Irish whiskey (Black Bush, Paddy, Tullamore Dew...)
9 cl (3 oz) hot medium roast espresso coffee
1 cl (1/3 oz) Maison Routin 1883 cane sugar syrup
3 cl (1 oz) whipped cream
Heat the whisky with the sugar (over low heat so as not to boil the whisky) in a saucepan while stirring.
Prepare your espresso and pour it over the hot and sweetened whisky, stir lightly.
Pour the whole into the glass previously rinsed with hot water and coat the surface with whipped cream, it's ready!
Enjoy without delay!
Tip ?
To make your cream even more successful, place it in the freezer for 20 minutes before whipping it vigorously.
To replace the whipped cream, pour fresh cream over the alcoholic coffee using the back of a spoon. Avoid mixing.
Alcohol abuse is dangerous for your health. Consume in moderation.
