If you need a simple, high-quality cold brew solution, you've come to the right place. Plus, if you just drink an incredible amount of coffee at home, this should cover all your caffeine bases too!

The Toddy Commercial system is made in the USA and uses its patented cold water extraction process to produce a cold brew liquid coffee or tea extract that offers a full-bodied aromatic flavor profile that translates into a bold, super smooth taste.

Prepare 5 lbs. of your favorite coffee and you should produce approximately 9.5 L of coffee concentrate, which can then be decanted, via the drip-free spigot, ready to make a number of delicious coffee drinks.

Comes with a 21L brewing vessel with lid, elevator (increases the volume of cold brew you get from each batch and eliminates the need for a strainer!), drip stop valve and a starter kit of 2 paper filters and 2 Tree Free filters.
BPA free.

Additional filters are available in packs of 50.

Using the Toddy commercial brewer :

Coffee:

  1. Insert the coffee lifter, feet down, into the commercial brewing vessel, making sure the spigot is not obstructed.

  2. Insert a commercial filter into the brewing vessel with the open end up. The filter will rest on top of the elevator.

  3. Pour 5 lbs. of coffee into the Coarsely ground into the filter.

  4. Pour approximately 11.2 Liters of cold water into the open filter, making sure to saturate all the coffee grounds.

  5. Tie the filter bag closed with the included string. The string should be tied about 3" (8 cm) from the top of the filter bag. Leave enough room for the coffee to move around. If you tie the bag too tightly, you will create dry pockets in the grounds and the coffee concentrate will be very weak.

  6. Cover with the lid and let brew for 12-24 hours.

  7. Drain the concentrate into another suitable storage container.

  8. Turn off the tap and let the pomace sit for an additional 15 to 30 minutes.

  9. Decant the remaining concentrate and refrigerate.

  10. Disposal/Cleaning: Carefully remove filter with grounds from brewing vessel. Attention The filter is fragile when wet and prone to tearing. Compost or dispose of the filter and grounds. Rinse the coffee elevator and air dry for reuse.


Tea

Follow the same steps as for coffee, but use 2 pounds of tea.

Brew for 12-18 hours.

Produces 7.6 L/256 oz of concentrate.


To serve:

We recommend starting with a ratio of 1 part tea concentrate to 6-7 parts water, milk or soy.
Blend to taste, making your tea as strong or as weak as you prefer.
Serve hot or iced.
